Carcel (meaning ‘prison’ in Spanish) is a clothing label set up to employ and empower incarcerated women. Each piece is produced by female prisoners in production facilities around the world set up by founder Veronica D’Souza. Carcel employs craftswomen and provides courses in other areas of expertise that will support life after prison.
